Freelancer @ Late Night Coding

My journey in tech has been both challenging and rewarding. As the Head of Infrastructure and Co-Founder at Flexn, I designed and managed the company’s cloud infrastructure and backend development, creating a cost-effective and scalable foundation for our products and clients. I also played a key role in investor relations towards a €1 million in funding for accelerating the company’s growth and innovation.

Before Flexn, I served as a Full Stack Technical Lead at NN in their Catapult division, where I led a team to develop innovative digital projects like LegalFit, Brickler, Kwiek, and Powerly. These initiatives aimed to drive digital innovation and address real-world problems, from assisting young entrepreneurs to promoting energy efficiency in homes. Before this promotion, I was a Senior Software Engineer in NN's Banking division in charge of developing the cloud infrastructure, APIs and mobile app to provide the ability for the users to make SEPA transfers and, more importantly, iDEAL payments and later on also supporting iDIN.

My experience at 24i involved working on the open-source NodeJS project ReNative, where I implemented unit and end-to-end tests, automated deployments, and enhanced developer experience across multiple platforms. At Greppy Systems, I contributed to a FinTech startup, CreditStacks, building websites, APIs, microservices and a React Native application, while introducing AWS services like Cognito and AppSync to enhance performance and security.

I attended Akamai Kona Site Defender and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate courses which have strengthened my ability to design secure and scalable cloud solutions.

Outside of my professional roles, I enjoy working on personal projects that blend creativity and technology. I’m passionate about home automation and have developed systems using Home Assistant, ESP32 microcontrollers, Node-RED, and more. My curiosity also extends to Arduino projects, including a remote car starter and an airsoft bomb prop for gaming enthusiasts.

In my free time, I like playing airsoft and tinkering with anything related to electronics or software. Recently, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by obtaining my private pilot certificate. Learning to fly was both a challenge and a great satisfaction, and I’m thrilled to now have the ability to take to the skies.
